Hi Karl,

Good question, and fortunately for us, the answer is 'no'. As you suggested, Tourcaster is a simple reseller of audio tours generated by individuals such that Tourcaster provides no sense of community involved. In Tourcaster's case though, this is not a problem or a defect in their business model as they achieve their business ambitions quite readily by simply providing an audio tour aggregation function.

As you suggest though, while some of our premium content will definitely come from established tour providers like those that for which Tourcaster resells, we could never establish the depth or breadth of media that Pocket Journey aspires to by simply resorting to that pre-existing & somewhat saturated business model/sales channel. As you hint at, Pocket Journey would be nothing more than an audio tour reseller in that case.

So yes...unfortunately...the extent of our media community and exact process through which we will obtain our media must sadly remain a trade secret until we have established enough of a competitive lead to let everyone in.

Thanks for asking,
Anthony

Your site seems to act like the source of the audio tours is some big secret. Aren't these audio files just the same content from http://www.tourcaster.com/ ?
